Case overview

Reading circle is halfway through a story when Elena notices Imani scratching the back of her head. Imani pauses whenever someone looks up from a book, then starts again as soon as the group settles. After a nearby classmate turns toward her, she draws her hood forward and goes quiet. Another student begins whispering, and Imani keeps her eyes on the page without joining the discussion. Elena can see the distraction, but not what started it. Imani has not said whether the spot hurts, itches, or only bothers her when her hood touches it. The story moves on, and Elena has to keep track of the class while deciding which details matter. Nothing in the room explains the change yet, and Imani's own account is still missing. Players must separate what Elena saw from what she assumes, notice how the room's attention may affect Imani, and decide which details are worth learning before they choose a response.
