Case overview
Elena Ochoa has just settled her class into reading circle when Imani Wells begins scratching at the back of her head. It happens once, then again, and soon Imani is trying to hide behind the hood of her sweatshirt. A nearby classmate notices. Elena has several choices in front of her: make it a class discussion, search for an immediate answer, or preserve Imani's dignity while getting the right person involved. The case asks players to separate what a teacher can observe from what school health staff and local policy should decide. It also makes privacy part of the reasoning. A careful response protects the student from becoming a topic of conversation while still ensuring the school can follow its own health and family-contact process.
