Case overview
Maya is often herself between episodes, which has made each earlier bout of vomiting and unusual tiredness seem explainable on its own. This time, after an ordinary illness and disrupted meals, Ren has trouble getting Maya fully awake. Ren must separate the immediate safety concern from the longer pattern without trying to name a cause: what is happening now, when similar episodes occurred, what had changed beforehand, and which details a clinical team needs first. Ren knows the current change cannot wait for an explanation of the older episodes. She remembers that Maya seemed well between them and tries to put their timing in order. What matters first, and which earlier details will the clinical team need to hear first?
